Repair Terra Cotta Cornices

We need to repair cornices similar to ones that fell. Apparently what got between the terra cotta cornice and the brick masonry and froze push out the cornice. When the metal strap rusted through it broke, allowing the cornice to fall to the ground.

FIX: Install 1/8” thick stainless steel straps along face of corner units and adjacent units to prevent rotation of corner units. Strap will be anchored at ends with ½” diameter epoxy rods and ¼ inch diameter tapping screws are to be installed at 8 inches on center along the length of the strap.
